Lilias Trotter - Resources and Thoughts

Lilias Trotter was born in London in 1853, this exceptional artist was an informal student of art critic and social philospher, John Ruskin.  Ruskin believed Lilias would become world-famous if she pursued her talent. However, at the age of 33, with a few supportive friends, Lilias felt a strong call of God to go to the mission field in Algiers.
